Hey, Super Fun Craft Time

I started my weekend with a massive trip to Archivers and Michaels.

Tonight, I did my first test run for a potential craft night project.

They are super cute Owl Cards from the Handmade Hello book. This book is so great and has all of these wonderful templates in the back. Unfortunately, someone browsing the book, also thought the owl cards were super cute- because someone apparently swiped the owl template. In the words of michelle tanner- how rude!

But no worries- I made my own. I think the proportions on the head triangle piece and the beak might be a little off. That's what a test run is for.

I also made Brandon a Carrot Cake this weekend. He's been asking me for the past 2 years- so I figured I was out of excuses. Thanks to the Whole Foods recipe app on the iphone, things turned out pretty dang delicious.
